WORKING WITH FRACTIONS

Fractions are a type of numbers. There are different types of numbers:
  • Whole Numbers
  • Mixed numbers
  • Integers
  • Fractions
  • Rational Numbers
  • Irrational numbers
Fractions are numbers which are represented as 'parts of a whole' . For example: 2/3 is 2 parts out of the total 3 parts.
Students can learn how to conduct various operations on Fractions like:

  • How to divide fractions
  • How to multiply fractions
It is important for students to also learn how to convert Fractions into other forms like:

  • How to convert Fractions into Decimals
